A guy named Alessandro Neil Ricci - a project geologist send me a connection request on LinkedIn. Accepted the request and he got my personal email from my LinkedIn webpage which I didn't realise. He said he prefered to communicate personal matters via email.
He said both of his parents are dead and he’s an only child. Never married and no kids and he’s 46 yrs old. He told me personal things about himself and asked me about myself & my career. He seems like a genuine guy and I was happy to communicate with him for nearly 2 months. He said he will be on an offshore contract with Chevron for the installation of wind turbine in Puerto Rico and sends a personal photo.
In less than 2 months he said he wants to progress into a relationship telling me it’s fate that brought me & him together. That he wants to retire soon and will start a lucrative business in commercial real state so that he will have time to spend with his future partner or wife.
I already have a second thought even responding on the 1st email and then he asked for my phone number so he can call me or add me on WhatsApp. That's when I start to think it was a scam.
I told him I’m not interested in a long distance relationship especially with someone I met online.
From then on he stop sending emails.
