Chris Douglas
Chris Douglas first contacted me through Facebook on July 11th. Told me he was in the sea off Perth, Australia on an oil rig. He stated he was a widower with one son, 14, who was studying in West Africa at present. Very romantic, sent pictures, but his writing was very broken.
Then he called me through messenger and trust me, his was NOT a New Jersey accent!! I blocked him, but he started another Facebook page and friended me. After 10 days, he's telling me his son's birthday is coming up and he would love a present from his new mom. Then he asked me how much money I had in the bank.
I don't tell anybody those specifics. How many bedrooms did my house have. I knew it was a scam, so I either ignored his personal questions or made something up. Finally, he asked me to send "our" son $350 for his birthday so he could pay school fees.
I told him sorry, don't have it...well, how much could I send? I told him I was disabled and on a limited income and had bills I needed to pay and that I could not afford anything. He said that I must not care for him if I wouldn't do that. I told him that I didn't pay for a man's love and to have a nice life.
Blocked!!!
