Hello. After many years on online sites and social media a few additional things I have noticed have a very common thread aside from working in a foreign country, many targeting the US will either pretend to be in the military and/or very God fearing.
They often are single fathers who’s child’s mother died tragically in either a car accident or from cancer. Many I’ve encountered have greats jobs and lots of money, and yet for some reason why they can’t access it. In one instance, one guy claimed to be from Turkey and traveled to China, and did chat on the phone and clearly sounded African.
Managed a pretend video chat that dropped out after seconds. No money exchange as I am pretty savvy and found who’s images he stole and dragged it a bit until I called him out on the lies.
