David Brooks is on Facebook and contacted me by message in Septemember 2013 He says he is a widow, lost his wife as she gave birth to their 6 year old daughter Jane.

At the time he said he lived in UK. and was searching for employment. David will charm you with promises of love and will take care of you. This was a very busy time in my life,and I am a recent widow myself of 3 years. We enjoyed occasional chats on face book. He called numerous times with a private number, his voice is pleasant with an accent.

He then gets a work assignment, or contract as he calls it, in Nigeria. In Nigeria his wallet was stolen and he asks for money to get materials for the assignment. It does not end there,and he will continue requesting money so that he can get back to the UK.

Before long he tells me he is preparing himself to be placed in Jail. Unable to complete his contract and owes the hotel money, he speaks of drinking for comfort, yet still requests money to get him out of the jam he is in.

When I denied him money he didn't want to speak anymore. I have tried to delete this person in every possible way from my accounts, yet my son- in-law recognises this man as a hacker and is very good at what he does.

My computer has been hacked, and in fact is damaged. This person is extremely educated in IT.

My children are worried at this point and warn me not to communicate. I do not get any more phone calls, much to my relief. I needed to come on and warn others of this.

David Brooks uses Bblackberry and refuses to Skype or video chat.
