This guy was on plenty of fish and sounded very credible. Right before we were to meet on a date he had to go out of the country to Kuala Lumpur for a construction contract.


When I tried on several occasions to do a video chat, he couldn't manage to get his computer to work. I finally figured it out.

I am in a very similar situation. Been talking to this man for almost a year. Claims all he needs is $700 to pay the approvers and he'll be coming back to Alabama.

Claims to be an engineer, widowed, son age 12, even sent a passport, picture, contract of who he is supposedly working for.

I can't find anything on him. Nothing.

His name is Tyler Baker.

He contacted me on Facebook after he said he watched me for a while. He is in Cyprus on his last big job and after that he will retire. He had his machinery frozen for tax, then his equipment was trashed and he needs 11000.00 but only asking me to pay 5000.00.

He has a ten year old son in private boarding school and is a widower for many years. He will send poems and track every move and ask for your location always. He wants money sent to spoofed names that never linked back to him.

I told him I was not getting entrapped in the money scam and he promises to come to USA and repay me when he comes to take me away.

MoneyGram failed and he got very nasty with me for failing to send money.

He said he is a marine engineer born in uk and works in calif for Siemens. He is a widow with 2 kids. He went to Malaysia to get his contract payment and he even showed the bank approval for 3 million USD.

That's great but said that he has problems with his credit card and was asking for 500USD which he will return. I said I dont have that amount and I told him to make an agreement with the bank. What is 500USD compared to what he is supposed to get from the bank and he was mad. I told him that he has more connections than me.

I didnt answer him anymore. An engineer with 3m borrowing 500USD from a jobless lady?
