Greg Granero - Oil Rig Scam

Someone claiming to be Greg Granero contacted my on Match.com. Within a couple days he asked to move to personal email and phone. Then when I suggested we meet he said he was leaving to travel for work for 5 weeks. Said he was an independent contractor on an oil rig off in Alberta. He said he had taken his profile off Match and wanted to concentrate on getting to know me.

The emails and texts began and he was saying everything a single girl wants to hear to build a connection and trust and even love. Said he had been single for 5 years after losing his wife to leukemia and was ready to date again, but only a serious relationship. Within a couple weeks a crises began to develop at work and he eventually has no choice but ask me for between $50-60,000.

This is when I did a reverse search of the photo he provided and found 8 identical matches, just a different face photoshopped onto an oil rig worker.
