John Torbitt on Tinder

Hi everybody out there, I'm back again. A friend of mine has been scammed by this guy named John Torbitt and they met on Tinder. She told me he's one of the bottom feeders that likes to use extortion and only do this game in two weeks.

He asked her 2000$ and threatened her with extortion otherwise he will post stolen stuff from her fb. She did not give anything oviously.
I got his pic into google images and it comes out related to a man who calls himeslf Bruce Scott but don't know if really him.

Then found a Bruce Scott on fb with no pics and obviously oil rig engineer widow with a daughter. From south carolina but living in Shanghai and working for Total.

Watch out for both names.

Yes dont walk Run ~ He will ask for money and is very very persistent. He asked for $5000. Yes block and delete. I did and he was no fun.

I picked him on Tinder as I do all the other scammers that I match with. He comes on so strong and his voice in no way matches the photos he sends.

Yes I met him on Tinder too. He's been talking about his undying love for weeks now and claiming that he's out of state on a work related project. He just told me he's been in a terrible accident and even forwarded me x-rays as proof.

I'm guessing he'll be asking for $$ next.

You really have to watch out for scams on Tinder and other dating apps. The key is some guy who has never met you making declarations of love and then claiming to have some kind of terrible event happen resulting in a request for $$.

I am blocking him.

Hope never to hear from him again.
