Messaged me on Facebook under the name"JAMES POTTER". Although he later said his real name was "Hudson Potter James". Come from a military family with relatives in all branches so I knew from the get go after claiming to be a Blackburn ranger with the navy 1st infantry, 62nd battalion.

MOST ALARMING THOUGH, he would not stop asking for pictures of my daughter who is 4….

Oh he is alive and well on Facebook Dating. He is using the name Christopher on there. And he is still using the Army Blackburn Ranger story, but for his occupation he listed Hospital Corpsman. Which is Navy, and I know because that was my rating in the Navy. So I knew he was completely full of crap. A few different pictures, but definitely the same guy.

By the way, this time he said his name was Lucas, he was doing military service in Sudan, and after a while he asked me for my phone number but I didn't give it to him. He played around for a few days, until he told me he had no money because he didn't have access to his accounts.

Dm'd me on IG using the username bristol_frank7 and said his name is Frank Bristol and told me he was and these are his exact words: Air Force 39.

So, I said does 39 mean your 39th Air Division? Knowing that the 39th Air Division is inactive, and he replied with: lol not really, that's just the branch. So, I pressed further and asked him, when you say you're Air Force:39 what does 39 represent? And he completely ignored the fact I asked that question and proceeded to change the topic.

I was already suspicious the moment I received a message, but thought I would play around with him and see what responses he came up with. He claims to be stationed in Iraq at Camp Victory. And he was already put on notice that I have a nephew who is a USAF Veteran and was a Sergeant Military Police officer.

The only photo posted to this account is the one in the military uniform, and that uniform is not even worn by USAF Military. I posed the question, if you are in the Airforce, why are you wearing a Marine uniform and his reason for that is that he also joined the Marine Combat team for Special operations. I did an image search of the photo and here I am lol.

He's about to be exposed and I'm sure that will be the end of that. The profile will most likely be deleted, and another will take its place. It's disgusting!

Oh, he asked if I had Gmail and I said no, even though I do. He sure as hell wasn't going to receive any of my personal info. He proceeds to say that he wishes to stay in contact with me and talk, however, the war base their is very restrictive from many things.

Uhhhhh...restrictive? The dude has been having an active IG conversation with me for the past hour, but you need my Gmail to email me because of the restrictions there in Camp Victory? Yeah, dude that makes so much sense!

I would really like to find out who the person really is in the photo and let him know that his pictures are being used to lure people into scams! If anyone knows who the guy is in the actual military photo, please shoot his name my way because I would like to get in contact with him.

I have the same scam going on. Said his name is Bryan Blakely. I am having nice long conversations with him via text (I wont download the apps he wants me to). He doesn't even realize the same is being scammed. I'm just enjoying wasting his time with my very odd and creepy answers.

Actually, all the women I work with are very invested in my relationship. We read the texts together and get quite a laugh out of it. I just feel bad that he actually has some women fall for it.

I told him I don’t trust anyone. He hasn’t messaged back. I always do my research and I found out it wasn’t him right away. I feel back for the real guy of these pictures. So many fake profiles out there.

Just started talking to him a week ago. He is going by the name Michael Pearson!!!! Wording is off some. He says he is a Marine Officer. Told me he left his wife cause she cheated on him 4 years ago with his best friend. He never asked for money, just told me he wanted to support me and my kids!!!

He then started asking me for my address and account details so I can get his benefits. I'm a military brat so it sounded suspicious and when I was online I stumbled upon this.

Like the second thing he said to me was "I am David by name" so I reversed image searched his profile and fond this site. This guy told me his name was Scott and I knew something was off because he's not a guy that would normally hit on me. I did an image search and found this because something was off. He also asked me for an iTunes gift card, his wording of words was off as well.

He told me that he is in the army in Afghanistan, and also told me he loved me. LOL!

Also, that his wife died in a car accident and his mom died as well. Iv'e seen catfish before and everything he was doing was fishy. I also found another fake profile on instagram that uses the same pictures but goes by the name of Joe Walker.

I always do a reverse image search on photos guys send me, especially the ones that look out of my league.

Found this site and a few others. To me he called himself James Milner, military. Never directly asked for money, but did ask, what I got him for Christmas? I replied, my smile. He replied, I was hoping for gift cards.

I'm pretty sure he's not american, as his use of words seems off, as if he doesn't know the meaning of words/phrases, makes him seem stupid, but he doesn't have grammar errors, more like the direct translation is messing him up.

When I confronted him about wanting money, he said I was a "nagging and a dramatic woman" (that weird choice of word things). He also said, "reason why no white wanna date blacks".

I didn't him tell why I thought he was shady, because I didn't want him to start using some else's photos. So, please don't tell him you did a reverse image search, that way we can make it easier for women to know he's "dirty".

Yes I’ve been scammed by him but he goes by the name of Timothy on mingle 2 and he has multiple accounts and he can’t even remember his lies because I tested him out and it’s just pathetic but I’ve been scammed by 1 and now I can spot them very fast.
