Today, I responded that he should stop doing such things to scam people and that God may enlighten him.

Just a FYI about this scam it is still on. I have been contacted in the same way but realized it was a scam before sending any money. However the level of detailed involved amazed me.

The communication, proper knowledge of the banking system, inheritance claim process and even copy of the legal documents that looked kind of real.

I got contacted through Facebook and the fake profile even added a friend of mine that lives abroad. So yeah he or she did his homework. After that there is no death list of the earthquake so is basically impossible to determine if the person really died. Then if you try to look for them through social media they wont appear because they don't exist.
A good key factor to know this is a scam is checking the Facebook profile with which they contacted you after a couple days because my scammer fake profile appears as unverified by Facebook.

Besides that look for the deceased because anybody that has at least 30 MM in a deposit is not a nobody so therefore there should be news of his death.

Good luck and dont believe anything they say.

I string these guys along. And, when I'm fed up of "playing" with these crooks I drop them. JUST WHEN THEY "THINK" THEY GOT ME. This time it was also a Mr. Shayne Nelson and the Lawyer was barrister Usman. All he wanted from me was about $3500.00 U.S. Dollars.

He spun quite a slick story; and he was convinced he "had" me. I strung him along for a few days.
I HAD FUN.

I wonder if we could have been scammed by the same person using a different name? The person who I was scammed by went by Steve Vig, I have posted my story in this same area on this site: Steve Vig - Oil Rig Engineer.

The reason I wonder is because I was told to contact the consultant at a shipping company to have Steve's belongings sent to me. The consultant was Idris Amil, supposedly worked for a shipping company called KDR Security. The name is pretty similar to the consultant you were asked to contact.

I wonder if your scammer sent you pictures of a nice looking man with salt & pepper hair? I met my scammer on Plenty of Fish in the middle of November, by the first week of January he asked me for money.

I searched the net and could not find any such law firm or lawyer.
