NIgerian Dating Scam - Jerry Toms

I was approached by a person calling himself Jerry Toms (and Jerry Toms Cares) on Match.com, the first day I was on the site.

After a few days it became apparent that he was either incredibly emotionally needy and clingy, or a farce. Typical story, a widower with 2 older sons, he is in Africa on business, will be back in a few weeks.

Started to ask me to upgrade my cell phone to international calling so I could call him, he was having trouble getting calling cards in Africa. Really? Think not!

The country code for the phone number he gave me was Nigeria, which confirmed my suspicions that it was a scam, and he was stupid.
