Alex thompson scammed me out of 8350.00. Then he wanted 6500.00 and when I refused he was mad. Then I found him on the charm website under the name of michael thomas. He said he was a oil rig private contractor.

This man in the picture is not communicating with your mother. Your mother has been communicating with a scammer. This man in the picture has a son, however, his son doesn't need a nanny.

Fake Video calls are easy to make utilizing the image and pre-recorded voice of the person. The scammers have a machine that can do that.

Remember: Romance scam is a billion dollars industry. scammers are very sophisticated at this time.

My advice for your mother: ask him to meet in person? She will never meet him because the person she has been talking to is a scammer and not this man in the picture.

I want also to add: I guess Heidi ran out of old pictures, now she is using black and white. Very sad.

This man has been speaking to my mum for 2 years. Has anyone else experienced with this con man, that uses the name Sam. He states he has a son and a ‘nanny’ called Nancy who also emailed my mum.

Unfortunately my mum does not believe that he isn’t real as he has completed video calls.

For those that who has been talking to this man have you ever heard of the nanny or son please?

I know him as George Welsh in Instagram we exchanged phone numbers 2 week ago. He just proposed to me on Friday he told he works for Rosneft oil company in Russia and he is coming home so we can get married.

I was excited yesterday and he called facetime but he doesn’t have an Irish accent so I asked him where he was from and he said California. I just know something was wrong and he used a deep fake. His face doesn’t move like a normal face. Last night he asked me for money and I said no so he gets very angry so I started investigating him.

He told me he will post pictures on the Internet. I’m sure he is not the only guy behind this and they are in Africa. I confronted him and said it is not him.

I reported him to some friends from law enforcement

It seems we're talking to the same guy or group. I've been talking to him for 2 years, same song and dance, has a lot of my money and big piece of my heart. I'm having a very hard time shutting him off but I know I have to.

The guy in the pictures just got married, has a college age son and lives in Ohio. He knows his pics were stolen, and has reported it many times to no avail.

We've all got the same story, and the outcome is we've all got lighter bank accounts because he's so believable.

Just block him(them).

I was Romance Scammed by someone using the photos of this man. Every man/woman who knows me knows I'm literally the very last person on this earth to fall for sweet words or Romance Scams. The Very last. I was aware of what he was doing from the beginning and blocked him at least 13 times but he kept using another email address.

Almost as if he couldn't accept I knew what he was doing after a few weeks. He couldn't accept it. Why so many use this man's photo's though? I thought he was attractive at first glance but there's something evil in his face.

Sorry I know it's not actually him doing the scamming but there must be a reason hundreds of people use his photos. It's not normal for so many to use just one mans photos though. That's very unusual.

I played him at his own game in the end and he struggled to handle it.

I know him as Michael Acadia Johnson. I have been talking to him since August 2020. He told me his wife was killed in a car wreck n 2014. He has a son named Jonathan 18 y/o now.

My heart is broken. Fell for his crap. He got away
Over $13,000 of my hard earned money. I sent him a message last night and told him what I had found out. He is saying that someone has been using his pictures for scamming. He sent me both pictures posted here.

Says his dog's name is Buddy. Messages me several times a day. Claims he is 65 y/0. Says he's coming home next week. Supposedly from Atlanta Georgia, moved here from France at age of 16.

I pray he gets caught soon. He broke my ❤️ and stole my money 💰

I was contact by a Richard Johnson on Instagram. He asked me to go to WhatsApp. He claims to be an architect from Texas. He was doing a mall in Turkey and then he will be coming back to the United States. 1 daughter of 5 years old and a son of 9 years old. His wife died giving birth to his daughter 5 years ago.

He started texting me every day, saying he wants to be with me and he loved me. Then he asked for money saying that his kid had an accident and that he needed surgery and because I didn't send it, he started texting and blaming me for all that happened to his kid. Then he contacted me again by Instagram saying that because I didn't send the money his son was not going to be able to walk.

Beware he is a scam. I have many pictures of him.

Could not find his pictures anywhere with Google reverse image Did find a Raymond Brown 90 yrs old in Salida Colorado He chatted a "sweet" line, widowed after 34 years When I started to ask questions about the company he works for and what Area of the rainforest is he logging in...things got tense. He said he worked for Old Lumbers Company. He could not give me the area of the rainforest he is working in. However I checked: The rainforest has restrictions on logging, especially in certain areas.

He gave me a phone# to call him so we could chat. He got angry when I started to ask questions about his work etc. I reported him to Plenty of Fish but his profile could be on any Dating site!

This scumbag is known to me as Bennett Fewster. Handsome, charming as hell but a f%$#ing low life scammer. I fell for everything that all you ladies have. Marriage, best friend and confidant. I asked for him to take a picture of himself holding a note and he did, not once but twice.

Looks great but obviously photo shopped, He's good at what he does. I'm gonna write a novel " How I fell in love with a scammer"...please ladies don't be a fool like me...be careful out there. He's worse than the plague.

This man had contacted me back in June 2021. Come to find out he was a scammer. Did not find out till New Year's Day. Just confirmed what I was thinking. Of course he said all the wonderful things and sent the nicest songs. Every month I told him I thought he was scamming me. He was insulted at first.

Told me not to believe what I see online. I did lose a few hundred dollars. Thankful it was not more. This scammer did send me an engagement ring. Most likely fake. I still have the note and order number.

Was wondering if the FBI would be able to find the person who ordered. Hoping these scammers get caught. Wishing Kelly and Heidi all the happiness in the world. Do not know them but they are as much victims as we are. Take care and BE SMART!

Over a year of talking, phone calls, just closeness. Totally believable to the tune of 53k to get him and his equipment off the rig to home in Atlanta. Now needing 13000 more, I said no, I'm tapped out, he totally turned on me, all my fault and he's still there, and its my fault he's losing his relationship with his son, that my actions are driving him insane. I think he's had help there.

What's wrong with me, I know he's a scammer but I'm crying over this man. I don't know who can help me, I thought I was strong but this hurts big. How do I move on? My money's gone the bit coin route.

Told me he was Frank Allen from Exonmobile on a rig in Denmark. He video chatted to show me that it was him cause I had seen other pictures under that name. Such sweet talk until I refused to send 500.00 so he could get an extra data base then he dropped me after he asked me to marry him.

Now I see him on other web sites under other names.

He told me his name was Jack Anderson - he was a widower for 5 years and was 62 with a 15 year old daughter named Lisa. His story was he was working on an oil rig in Scotland and his daughter is in boarding school in Austin, Texas.

He started out asking me a bunch of questions that I answered with lies and then by the time we talked it was hours (what can I say - I was amused). I was his "true love and soulmate" Today I looked him up on this website and found him quickly - I wanted to pat myself on the back for guessing correctly.

When I told him I wanted him to send me a selfie of him holding up a piece of paper with my name on it in front of his chest he said I should send him one showing him how I wanted it - I told him what I said was self explanatory but he didn’t respond anymore.

I guess I found and lost my soulmate within 48 hours!!😂😂

The latest he appeared as an FBI agent Thomas Cooper. He even sent me a pic of him post op with a rotator cuff repair and stated he was injured while trying to get into the village were Goodness was located.

He stated that he needed cards to track a Nigerian Scammer. I did fall for the first scammer who presented as a love interest and they wanted more money and I did not have it available and they went in another direction.

He is presenting himself as Billy Murphy or Murphy Billy. This might be an old profile.
The other account that the scammers are working out of is a Jeria Goodness (FB) oil rig owner engineer. Doing a start up in another country.

Then this guy comes along as an FBI agent and says he is going to arrest the scammer Goodness. The two scammers work as a team.

I am sure I am in the process of being sold to the highest bidder as Mr. Goodness has scammed my identity. The pictures that were used were of a very nice business man and I notified him.

This guy says he is Louis Enzo and is divorced with a grown son who is a pharmacist! He says he lives in Philadelphia. He says he has 500,000 in the bank along with owning a lot of different properties. He is suppose to be working on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico and tried to get me to buy him steam gift cards… then I found a picture on the scammer site from Nigeria.

Then he got some guy to contact me and say he was his son and say that the FBI was looking into getting his picture off the site. The man also sent me a picture of a hand that was cut and bleeding. The man that his dad did this to himself and wanted to die because he was so upset.

Theses scammers will go to great lengths to scam women. But I am very smart and I gave him no money at all.

I am involved with this man, or was until I saw this picture. He has been so kind to me, a shoulder for me in a tough relationship. Yes, I loaned him 5k months ago but weather prevented him leaving the ship. Now he wants to borrow 23k to get him and equipment off the rig.

I'm so sad, if he were real he'd be darn near perfect. He said his I.D was hacked and the FBI got involved to get his name back. He does work as a contract engineer on a drill ship.

This guy really gets around.

Since he didn't know anything about scammers, I sent another message all sweet and asking if we can get married before I start to show and that I hope it isn't twins! (I am 82).

Maybe I can keep him confused until you get to him.

The person in the photo is innocent of any crime. His Facebook account was hacked. He appeared as John Smith. Oil rig worker. Wife and son killed in a car crash. To cut a long story short, he turned out to be a man in Nigeria by the name of Ayo. Was after 2,000$ but got a flea in his ear instead!

While on WWF2 as John Smith, he also appeared as Scott V, which, unless they were twins, was impossible!

More recently he has appeared as John Karl. I confronted this person and told him that I knew the real person in the photo, and asked him why he was using someone else’s photo. He said he found it on his phone and because they look alike he used it! I’m just waiting for the next one now.

Found a profile on Facebook with the same picture and says he started to work in Edgartown Massachusetts.

Hi I posted earlier about Frank William if that’s Is his Name, apparently from Brazil. Please note since last posting, Before Blocking him on Hangouts, I had the privilege of letting Frank William know exactly how I felt and feel towards him. Especially for using the profile and photos of a genuine guy Kelly Hettinga. I’d like to know why Kelly’s photos are still on this scammers website, as I feel they should be removed as it’s so undignified and unfair to Kelly and his family.

Hello, he was Warren Stefono for me from Pelham Alabama, wife was killed in car wreck 3 years ago. One son who he loved so much, lol. He wanted a favor for me to send him a Steam Card. I asked how much and he was only wanting $100 but I had already decided he was a scammer as soon as he wanted a favor.

I didn't send anything but I do see how women could fall for this. They give you all the compliments and talk so sweet when we are lonely. He even face timed me one night. I did notice he kept rubbing his head and I really couldn't hardly understand him.

Gives me the creeps now. He was going to retire the end of January. He was from Italy. lol I am glad I didn't fall for it. I will say, the attention was nice and it would have been easy to get caught up.

The photos all of us are posting actually belong to a real guy named Kelly Hettinga who has notified police that his FB photos and Instagram photos and videos have been hacked and stolen.

The guy using all of these aliases or guys, told me he is a widower after 30 years old marriage and his wife died of leukemia in Minnesota. He said his 20 yr old daughter lives in Atlanta with her grandma.

He pretends he is a civil engineer working off the Scotland coast in the North Sea and furnished a fake award certificate from KCA Deutag where he said he won a $13 million contract. (and they beg for funds for fees, satellite phone minutes, etc. he also begs for your bank account to transfer investor bitcoins.

He is a smooth liar and charming scammer!!! He actually sent me a fake video he made using Kelly’s real video and dubbed the voice into German accent.

He uses this email on Google Hangouts.:

Wants to know all about your life but does not tell you about much of his. Used a dog as a lure. Says he lives in Strongsville Ohio. Works on Oil rig "Montrose" off the shore of Scotland. Met him on Words with Friends. Did not finish playing the game and wanted to chat on Hang outs.

Quickly loves you and directs you to hangout, then asks for bitcoin, Steam cards, iTunes cards, Apple cards and then large sums of money. The money is to keep the network going to text and talk, then a medical problem, then warming jackets, then damaged equipment, and sends copies of fake bank account, fake flight tickets to come see you.

Vows he will pay every penny back, of course gets mad when you stop dishing out cash and disappears. Very smooth operator. Will steal your heart and your money!

His name for me was Allman grey. Said he was from Bulgaria and lives in California. His face book account is still up. Gave me this sob story that he was robbed and needed his documents before he could start his job on rig. And it cost a lot but it was to be paid back. Then he needed gift cards for his daughters birthday. It went on and on and i never knew it could do so much damage, and I have a lot of healing to do and so much dept to pay back. Beware!
