This guy claimed to be a rich specialist in the Oil and Gas business. Wrote me every day and sent beautiful poems. Wanted to visit me but was suddenly offered a 10 million dollar contract in Dubai and asked if I would be his beneficiary if anything happened.

Sent me wine and and would delay our meeting til December 15. Within a week he suddenly needed a Iphone to access necessary plans and so he call to talk to me from there. When I flipped out and told him I didn't have money and that a rich man should be able to buy anything with a credit card and suggested he send me his and I would facilitate the purchase. He went silent for 3 days and then said it was just a test to see if I was worthy to be his wife!

Scammer born in Germany - beware oil rig workers

same Idea, but I got wise when this guy said he liked older women mature in their thinking (i am 84). Met him on the Words with Friends game on my Iphone.

He started calling me sweetheart and said he was from Germany, had a 12 year old son who was still in Germany with his mother. His name was Davide W. and was working on an oil rig in Shanghia China.

After about 2 weeks of talking he ask me if I could send him $500 so he could pay his phone bill! That was it for me and I blocked him on Words and he still tried to find me so be aware of anyone working on oil rigs.

When I listed him I saw a lot of women who told stories about oil rig workers and some not so lucky and who lost a lot of money from these scammers.
