I was contacted on LinkedIn and have communicated multiple times a day for 3 months. Claims to be stuck in Istanbul pending a large check but due to a fire, needs money for them to release the check. Widow, 55, wife died of cancer and has 10 yr old daughter. Claims to be from San Diego, fell in love quickly and wants to marry.

All sounds too familiar. Is needing $6500 for check release. Says he’s from Denmark, Steven E Anderson and even gave me a website address showing his picture as the CEO.

Always communicates via WhatsApp with a 619 San Diego number.
