Oil rig scammer Barry Luigi

Met him on dating site Twoo. Calls himself Barry Luigi, widow, 19 yr old son named Jeremiah, father from Kuweit, mother from Israel. Working on an oil rig in Kuweit. Engineer, sub-contractor. Clever, apparently well-educated, writes English very well but speaks it poorly. It started the usual way: he was kind, romantic, smart, a gentleman, made me feel beautiful and desired, everything a woman could want.

I was on my guard though, having been victim to a scam before. He said that when all the crude oil had been drilled, it would be shipped to Benin and sold there. He had to fly to Benin to sigh the contract and then he'd fly to the Netherlands and meet me (I'm Dutch). Sounded legit to me, but the mentioning of Benin made me suspicious. I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt, as long as he did not ask for money, which he finally did.

Claimed he had used all his money to pay for the oil contract with Benin, but now he had to pay 2,100$ taxes. He was desperate, of course he would pay me back etc.

I blocked him right away.
