Hi
Another page with pictures of innocent people used by African's in online romance scams. These are of women used against men from well known dating sites such as Match.com and POF. Match in particular has many fake profiles and scammers.
The first two images are very commonly used by African romance scammers. A simple search of each returns pages of results. Still they use them. On Match.com you meet a 27 year old woman calling herself Shale Angus Twyman living in Columbia, South Carolina, USA
You email at first then use Hangouts. Her life is hard and she needs more data to continue talking with you and gift cards will do it for her. I didn't send a thing and no doubt they're on a different name and still trying.
Email used: twymanangus@gmail.com
The next two images are of another woman who has a good online footprint. The purpose of this scam is to make the man think she'll meet him that night for "fun". She asks the man to pay for a "Dating Badge" so she knows he is not sex offender or similar. Sounds good but it is not any police, court or law enforcement verfication.
The man is sent a link: https://www.verificationforms.com/VERIFYYOURDATINGBADGE***
The URL's are dynamic and the websites disposable. Credit card details are asked for to proceed in addition to some personal data.
Meanwhile on Hangouts the images become sexier and plans are being made for the evening ahead.
I used a prepaid card and only went so far. The total cost of the "verification" came to $1600.
On Hangouts Kendra Wren a 28 year old single looking for fun wants to get naughty early.
The end result is this;
You're led to believe you're "meeting" that night (That's what Tinder is for)
You have to pay $1,600 for a dating badge
You've been sent some sexy pictures and told what you want to hear
They just go when you've paid
The URL becomes useless
They hit your credit card for extra charges
They may have attempted to give you malware
They may keep the email but they walk with what they can. It's a common online scam and there are several sites that facilitate criminal activities such as this. Fake profiles are accepted.
The name in this case was Kendra Wren and email used: kendrawren14@gmail.com
