Another page with pictures of innocent people used by African's in online scams. These are of women used against men from well known dating sites such as Match.com and POF. Both have many fake profiles and scammers. With these pages it shows what POF and Match allow on their own platforms from the moment you sign up.

On POF a new profile and account is created and approved by them. Within minutes of going online "women" start contacting you and tell you what a great idea it would be to use the Live! feature. Below is a typical exchange;

Her: Hey there how are you doing?

Me: I'm fine and you?

Her: I'm well what are you up to? I hope I'm not disturbing you?

Me: That's good. I'm fine and hope you are as well?

Her: I'm pretty good just chillin. My name is Carolyn. What are you looking for here?

Me: Hi Carolyn I'm David and looking for a friend

Edit: All seems fine a typical start to an online meeting on a well known dating site. It does have a Live! feature that you've paid for and these scams want to trick you into going off the site and steal your personal data.

Her: Honestly I'm not here for games just want to meet someone real. I would like to get to know you more for fun and have laughs with and see where it goes from there.

Me: Okay that sounds good. I'd like to talk if you would.

Her: Okay can we just switch to the POF free-live-talk feature on here? It's a convenient way where we can talk easier and have a better conversation. Besides don't you think it's better if we can see each other?

Me: I agree and I've yet to use that (I'm actually on it in another window with my cam off)

Her: Missed live call

Her: Call not connecting?

Her: Activate your Private Live Talk Feature!

Her: Click --> Split.to/PrivateCallActivate****

Her: I tried calling but won't connect it says you haven't activated calls here. (How does that work? I'm on it)

Her: Open the page now. Click --> Split.to/PrivateCallActivate**** All you need to do is fill up the sign in page and also the free verification process to activate the live call feature

Her: The POF Team

Her: You make sure you approve and let me know?

Me: Okay

Me: I've filled it out (with their username and details)

Edit: That is the scam. Instant direction off the site for a feature you've paid for. If you click the link you will be asked for all the information you gave POF when signing up and more.

The pages appear almost identical to POF to make it look like you're still on their site. It's not and in a couple of days I came across 9 different sites they use.

It's organised, well planned and must get people. Match allow this too and many other sites also. They have a "support" email but it's ATgmail.com not ATpof.com
