Oil broker stuck in Qatar. Has anyone come across this man? My mom is “dating” him and he keeps saying he’s short $5600 to get out of Qatar to be able to come visit her. She’s just sure he’s real.
He claims to be an electrical engineer named Wayne Nissen. He says he’s in Saudi Arabia for 3 weeks working on a solar project. I’m waiting for the "emergency" that he needs money for.
Luckily she was suspicious from the beginning and we found this site.

Big time scammer by: Anonymous
Roberto Raul tacchi was also on our time. Very smooth talker but 3 days in the red flags went up and I realized he was a scammer.
I didn't give him time to ask for money and I reported him to our time. So be careful ladies, he really is a smooth talker.

Randy F is the same as Roberto Raul Tacchi by: Anonymous
He popped up on Match.com, and he was very smooth as Roberto Raul Tacchi. He took the conversation offline to an email address. A solar installation expert bidding on a job. I kept waiting for the scam and it finally happened like 4 weeks in.
Supposedly had bid for 8 Million that was accepted so went to Doha, Qatar. A couple of days into that he said a terrible accident happened and 2 men were electrocuted.
The next he said one died and he only Needed 9,600 more to make the 96,000 "fine". I refused to send any money.

SCAMMER by: Anonymous
He has been on OUR TIME since the end of March 2020, and is very smooth. Probably has done this before. One really wants to believe his "story".
DON'T SEND HIM ANY MONEY. After refusing to help him, he disconnected his phone and disappeared. He obviously signed on OUR TIME AGAIN around the time your daughter started "dating" him after he was unable to secure funds finding himself stranded.
The amount asked for was almost identical he asked you daughter. Get a background check at truthfinder.com I hope that help. :)

ATTN: Daughter of woman "dating" RF on Our Time by: Anonymous
Thank you for looking out for your mother. A friend shared your post with me which kept me from going down that same road, so thank you for looking out for strangers as well. I was first contacted by RF on Our Time on 9/30/20 (I joined the site 9/28).
A suggestion was made almost right away to take our communication to our personal emails. I delayed, he prompted me and we then did that 10/9. The virtual equivalent of being swept off my feet happened for the week after that until I was shown your post. I asked him about the post, he denied it, and then he stopped contacting me. After presenting himself as a very caring person, no concern was expressed about how I might be feeling.
Because of course, there is no RF and the pictures that are supposed to be him have been hacked by someone with nefarious motives. It seems a shame for the person in the picture to be associated with this sociopathic behavior because he probably has no idea he also is being used.

The photo you've attached is Photoshop. The man overlayed against the background.
If the man is working for an oil company they pay his transportation costs.
Like others have said, show her this site and the pages on it so she can learn from others.

Block him ASAP by: Anonymous
Do your mom a huge favour and make her read all the posts here. She will see the pattern of lies and stories. These are professional scammers. I considered myself intelligent and tech savvy but still got caught up in a very convincing scam.
If a man asks you for money to support him, he is a scammer. If he is a real man, no need to get the money to meet you. Be strong and go on without him. You need a man who will protect you, not the opposite.
