Scammer using Scott Michael name

Scammer got my info from Facebook and began communicating. We actually communicated for several weeks, he said he was a Shell Oil Engineer, had an 8 year old daughter.

I knew it was too good to be true, but just let him continue to play his game (he did not know I was playing a game also). You could easily pick up his bad vocabulary/spelling, not typical of a real Engineer. Of course he began professing love within days. Finally after several weeks, said he wanted me to install an app to communicate off FB/Messenger.

Said his account had been hacked. Went to Hangout app. Then within hours of doing this he asked for money for his daughter. He was supposed to be out of the country and she needed medication as she was in school.

I just told him it was Saturday and I could not get access to my savings bank as it was closed. I then deleted the conversation and this app from my phone. Went to Facebook he had canceled his FB page.

Hope I have did everything right. Below is just one picture he used.

Just tell him that I don't have time for him anymore because he always Replays slow 😆😆, but of course he loves me and wants to spend the rest of our lives together 😂😂

North Sea scammer

This scammer got my name from facebook and he said that he was a Shell engineer and he had a multimillion contract with Shell in the North Sea and he has a daughter that he needed to talk with but had no internet and needed cards to talk with her. Later said he wanted me to be the executor on his will and then wanted me to pay for a compressor that he needed to replace and then he said he was running out of food and water on the offshore rig and wanted me to pay for the food and water.

I told him no then he cursed at me and told me to go to hell and called me all kinds of names.

He is going my the name of ADAM HARTMANN NOW BUT HAS GONE BY EDWIN HOLLAND -- KEITH ROCKER -- SCOTT MICHAEL---CHRIS COLEY AND NUMEROUS OTHER NAMES

I have been talking to him since yesterday. I knew it was a scam from the first second. He says his name is Anders King Karl. His wife Anna died in a car wreck and has an 8 yo daughter. We are talking now. I keep being mean to him, but he loves it. Love to put this scum away.

Mom was/is a victim

He used the name Mason Bettimore. He found my Mom on a widow support group. It moved from there to Google Hangouts. He gave the story of his daughter being in the hospital and needing money. Also a story about some equipment he needed to purchase. He would call and text my Mom daily on Google Hangouts. She was successful once in sending him money. When she attempted a second time they wouldn’t send the money for her. She started sending Amazon gift cards. Through the process she met another woman who knew him as Manning Kyle James. My sister and I have tried to show everything to my Mom.

This guy is good at laying on the charm and she’s heartbroken. And as stupid as it seems going through a breakup with trying to justify trying to contact this creep. We are at a loss. The total money is somewhere around $5,000! I hope someone, somewhere can stop this jerk from taking advantage of lonely women.

Just friended me on FB, using the name David William (not Williams). I told him immediately he was a scammer. His profile says he is an Army surgeon, attended the US Naval War College LIBRARY for medical school and went to WESTPOINT--as if ANY of that makes sense.

And the only people who "liked" his new photos are Nigerian names.

Same story but this idiot took it to a whole new level. First his wife Anna died in a car accident. Left daughter who needed a Mom and he kept sending pictures of this man and his child. 2nd time he wrote and that’s when I knew he was trying to ask me for money but I cut him off at the pass and didn’t take the bait.

He insisted that I use the Whatup App and he did a video call. The problem is he said he was from Sweden but sounded Nigerian and his English was horrible.

So many flags but I played along and finally he confessed and told me he was a scammer and not to report him. I have and hope he gets caught. The fantasy of the man in the pictures, I won’t lie I was failing for but the voice and words didn’t fit the face.

Now my guard is up.

Be careful out there girls!

This guy was smooth and he sent me a beautiful poem and tried to chat a lot. He said he was an engineer in California, his wife died from Cancer and he had a 12 yr old daughter Chloe.

He called me beautiful and tried to call me after I had given him my number, sent emails but didnt want to, until I forced the issue.

What a snake he was.

Using Mr. Scott Michael Picture, same story fell in love with my picture on facebook and just had to say hello, proceeded from there to wanting ITunes cards, money, all the while professing I was his Queen and he was working on an oil rig in Houston TX, had two teenage daughters who were in boarding school.

They were all in the states on a Visa and needed money help to get his green card so he could stay in the states and come and marry me and bring his girls, so they could have a mother since their mother had been killed in a car wreck. Always saying I was his queen and how much he loved me and putting youtube love songs in his messages etc.

Well thank God I have a grandson in police work who sent me the whole story along with Mr Michael's picture and how they took other pictures and used them as fronts. I learned the hard way, But thank God I did. So now I am very careful who I talk to on face book and let be my friend. Do wish I had asked first before I fell hook line and sinker!! But will be all right now I have my head straightened out.

Almost cost me a close relationship with another of my grandsons. Too bad we don't have a way to warn older lonely people except look and be very careful of people you do not know who all at once wants to be your friend !!
