They tried to sucker my wife with the free carpet clean

As I approached my house and pulled up into the driveway two guys that were standing in my driveway talking to my wife looked at me in my vehicle and scurried off like a couple of cockroaches.

As I walked up I asked my wife, if they were the frozen steak/chicken/shrimp guys who were selling off the overshipment bla bla bla. She replied nope, they are going to clean our carpets for free! I said no they are not it's a scam aint nothin free, BS not going to happen.

I told her call them and tell them no way, she responded that they did not leave a number. What, no card no number? No way. Well she got angry at me for saying she was well dumb for falling for that stuff.

She said that were going to be by tommorrow about 5:00 PM Hmm good, this will be fun.

So 5:00 PM tommorrow is here, I have a big ole Tony Soprano cigar a half glass of Jim Beam and my dark glasses on, and I have my sidearm strapped to my waist.(I did not touch or motion towards my sidearm, open carry firearms are very common here in Arizona).

A minivan pulls up in front of my driveway with a woman in the passenger seat and some guy jumps out and gets about 3 feet into my driveway where I cut him off, and tell him not interested you have a nice day OK?

He asks me if I have already had the dry foam cleaning experience? Once again I tell him have a nice day, he responds "I drove all the way from Tucson" I told him have a nice trip back. He looked at me and got back in his van and left.

My wife looked out the door at me she was still angry. This morning I did a Google search on door to door carpet clean scam and ding ding ding and what you know? dry foam clean bla bla bla, Kirby vaccum sucker scam.

I show it to my wife and she says, wow that is exactly what they said to me she then started to laugh, she's not angry at me any more for now.

Just don't let the cons in or on your property.
