WATCH OUT FOR ROSE AWUKU OF ACCRA GHANA AND HER FAMILY

This is a recent experience I have been through.

It was I have come to find out a typical Romance Scam pulled on me by a woman and her family in ACCRA, GHANA.

ONE OF HER NAMES IS ROSE AWUKU, but after reviewing many photos of scammers she goes by several names. Most notable ROSE AWUKU uses the name of a porn start named Aria Giovanni. I guess this is common practice among scammers.

The scam, by all accounts was the classical one. Approach a man online, determine if he is lonely, which I was and then begin building trust and profess love and commitment to him soon. I think in probably 90% of her communications with me she stated that she "wanted to spend the rest of my life with you baby." Even though I asked her to not say that she persisted and eventually I began to believe her. Of course I was stupid and naive in going along with any of this.

Rose Awuku gave the typical story. Her father had died and she lived in Ghana helping her mother run a dress shop.

Early on I was upfront with her and told her to not ask me for money, but she was patient and her patience and endearing attitude wore me down so I began to help her an her family buy, "food stuffs" as she called them. The money was sent via Money Gram and once by Western Union. I end up sending her about $4000.00 which as I have learned is a small amount compared to many others.

Ms. Awuku, her mother "Mercy" and her sister Grace all applied pressure on me for funds, for food, clothes and eventually an airline ticket for Rose to come her to the USA.

LET ME BE CLEAR: THESE PEOPLE ARE VERMIN, THEY ARE SEWER RATS THEY ARE PARASITES.

MY ANGER FOR THE MOST PART IS TOWARD THE GHANAIAN GOVERNMENT FOR NOT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM.

I HAVE FILED FORMAL REPORTS WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES AND WITH THE FBI.
