A month ago I encountered and had an interaction with the above mentioned scammer. I reported him on Zoosk and blocked him. A week ago he is back on the site with the attached pictures and different name. He is now "Honest". The irony!!


Once again he will tell you that his name is either Kevin Lorenzo, Pedro Levi Diego or Larry Leroy Wolfe and he is 44 years old and divorced. He is contracted as a senior engineer on an oil rig and has a child back home in Brazil, whom lives with his mom. He has a fake Facebook profile under "Larry Leroy Wolfe (Perez).

He is very persistent and will consistently check up on you and only Whatsapp call you from the number +1(323) 531-5855. If you dial the number through the normal call service you will be advised that the number is incorrect. He will also very early tell you that he is in love with you and wants you to move to Brazil so that you can be a family.

The pictures that he uses on Zoosk, Facebook and Whatsapp are stolen pictures and are that of an innocent person. He will also send pictures of a child which are also stolen. I am writing this as it is quite disturbing that these pictures of innocent people are being abused and it is my hope that the actual person in the pictures becomes aware of this.

This story is all too familiar. I met him on Tinder and within a day he asked if we can chat on WhatsApp. That for me was not strange as I'm not always online.

He started chatting and within a few hours he said he has a proposal. I asked what and he was like would you be my gf. I was like okay and I heard the same story about the divorce, ex who cheated with best friend. Kid who stays with Mom in Brazil etc. I told him that I was scammed by 2 guys I met on Tinder and I do not hope that happens again as I sent these twats money. Yes I was stupid.

He assured me that's not the story. Then it was that we should get married and I must move to the US. Always attentive and continuously chatting within the 10 hour time difference. I explicitly told him I work hard for what I get and I do not live a lavious life so in essence do not ask me for money.

He told me he did a bid for a job here and I must pray. That was alarm bell no 1. Then I wasn't feeling all to well and I mentioned that my tummy was cramping and he asked if it was my period. Alarm bell no 2. No foreigner would know to use the term "period" they would have used menstrual cycle.

So I'm sitting at work and I start googling his name and BOOM!! I found this site. I took screenshots and sent it to him even though I know he should read it much later. Not even 5 mins later I get a WhatsApp call which I missed.

Messaged him that I cant talk now as I'm at work. He replies. What's this photos about. I reply. You're famous. He replies saying it must be his ex wife. I ask why would she do that. He says she wants me back. I said oh I see. He says thanks for the information I will send it for the FBI. I said you do realize I dont believe you right. He says then why are you still talking to me.

I reply I'm sick and tired of this BS and being taken for a fool. He replies. Mind your language. As I'm busy replying I got blocked.

I'm lucky to say he got zilch from me. And all this happened in a space 5 days. The sick idiot.

Goes by the name Carlos Ribeiro

I work for customs in Cape Town, where he advised that he needs money to clear a drilling machine that he ordered from Germany for $786 000. There is no such machine at customs and also the machine would not need customs paid as it is being used out at sea and now claims he has not been working for the past 2 weeks as the machine provided by whom he has the contract with broke on the 17th of June 2019.

And that the company would not help him to get the machine cleared because there are terms and conditions to the contract.

I honestly love men like this that think you are such an idiot like him.

This is every womans dream man. Caring and constantly checking to see how you doing.

Met him on Tinder and he supposedly deleted his profile as he had met the future Mrs Ribeiro.

Showed me screenshots of him deleting his profile. Found him back on Tinder under the name C,44.

One thing I take my hat off to him, he is so convincing and charming.

This damn idiot needs to rot and die in hell as he takes women out to be his fool.

Uses numerous numbers after I notice all the write ups.

I chatted with this scammer and realized it's a scam when he suddenly wanted to get married within 3 days of chatting and move me to Brazil. I video called him and he blocked the camera but his voice, accent and the way he speaks gave him away.

I contacted a good friend of mine because I wanted to expose him but was advised to rather be careful. He got angry when I didn't want to share certain information about me.

Be careful ladies and google the pictures if you must. Ask questions and if the person gets agitated or angry then know its a scam.

Hi there, I don't know what made me google Carlos and but he appears to be a scammer. I'm currently chatting to him on WhatsApp. Met him on Tinder. We have being chatting since yesterday. Story is the same about his kid Murphy who lives with he's mom in Brazil.

He wants me to relocate to California. He said he will come fetch me. He has being checking up on me to see how I'm doing.

He doesn't know I know. And he hasn't asked for any money yet. I did fall for him and now I'm am very disappointed. But it all sounded too good to be true. This is the 4th scam I came across. Luckily I didn't get caught but it's disgusting.

Ladies there is another Indian man who is a struggling musician. Loaned him a lot of money. He's name is Harshn Reddy, he's divorced has a son Bhavan. He hasn't paid back my money. Makes false promises. He will write songs for you and charm you into giving him money.

I know of 3 women that he took money from and never paid it back. He's good looking and he will charm the pants of you. He moves from one woman to another. He claims he has a job. But he never seems to have money. If he has money that means he got from another woman. He's a con artist and a pathological liar.

Be careful.

I was scammed by this guy too last year in June. We were chatting for about three years. He consumed my life. Promised me the world. And yes, I gave him money...how could I be so stupid.

I am such an intelligent person. His son's name is Murphy and his mom takes care of him. He supposedly takes on a job in South Africa, with an assistant named, Makhubela. He uses her bank details for money to be TRF in. Of cause all this is fabrication, but it all are so well articulated.

Take care ladies, since then I have been on the look out for him. I have reported him to Skout several times. They have removed his profile several times. I see that he is on Zoosk now. I also reported him to Facebook.

They removed his profile there as well.

Hi, If it is the same guy in the pictures he is a scammer and uses stolen pictures. He also operates off Facebook and uses a Viber account which is similar to Whatsapp, just a different app.

Please get your mum to see sense before he starts extorting money from her. This at the end of the day is a game and their full time jobs.

My mother is being scammed and I can't get through to my wife who is also suspicious of it without it turning into an argument! He calls himself Scott Nicholas, so can anyone help me please.

He says he is working on an oil rig and is from Costa Rica? Also widower, now the chat has moved on to viber or something, it's all a bit to convenient for me.

Any one else heard of this? ??? It started off on Facebook.

Hi Sharon. Thank you for sharing your story. The more the word gets out will hopefully put a stop to at least one of them. Yes he is good and they have mapped out their techniques to lure innocent women. I'm glad you caught him out and didn't actually fall victim to his scam.

I'm doing great thanks. Have vowed off this online dating thing as people are not who they say they are. So I'm skeptical.

Kavi, I was recently a victim of a scam and like you am hoping the man in the pictures I was sent will somehow find out his image is being used to lure lonely women. I posted my story and his pictures on this site also. One thing I am thankful for is this scammer didn't include any children in his story.

Falling for the man and finding out he wasn't who I thought he is was hard enough. Those who drag children into their stories are even lower. I hope you are doing well.

As time goes by, I hope we all are able to put this behind us.
